Remarks: The L091 Three Beacon Pleco is a large species of mostly carnivorous pleco This pleco is highly territorial toward conspecifics, so if one plans to keep it with other plecos the tank should provide plenty of territory space. Having lots of cover in the forms of rocks and driftwood will help ensure the three beacon pleco feels safe enough to explore the tank. They do not tolerate poor water quality and require highly oxygenated water so a good amount of flow and frequent water changes are necessary for them to thrive.
