Remarks: Peckoltia sabaji is a stunning pleco from the Amazon and Orinoco basins. They are known by multiple L-numbers based on where they are caught, but there does not appear to be any difference between them. They have golden-brown bodies with black spots that begin small on their head but grow larger towards their tail. They are omnivorous and will appreciate a varied diet. Like many Loricariidae, they spend a good amount of time hiding under driftwood or inside caves.
