Remarks:  A perfect starter fish! Guppies are peaceful community fish that reproduce with ease. They are livebearers, meaning the females release live fry rather than laying eggs. It is recommended to keep more females than males, as males can easily harass females with relentless attempts to reproduce, leading to stress in the females. This line of guppies is both unique and beautiful with their elegant lyretails that shine with an electric blue color. This vibrant hue is complemented by the silver or tan front halves of their body that occasionally has spots that can be red, green, or black. It should be noted that the original lines likely were produced by hybridizing guppies and endlers so they are most likely not a pure species but this goes for most modern strains. 

  For most strains, males are very colorful while the females remain a gray or silver color. However, there are some exceptions to this rule so sexing these fish is best done by looking at the anal fin. The females will have short, rounded triangle shaped anal fins with a black spot on the body directly above it, these are her female reproductive organs. Males will have long, thin, pointed anal fins that form his male reproductive organs called the gonopodium.
