They have neon-lime green bodies with a lateral stripe that shines brighter than the surrounding scales. A group of 10 in a ten gallon tank will look stunning but keeping a school of 30 in a 40 gallon tank would be even better. Their color looks excellent under both low and high lighting, and their high activity level keeps the tank looking alive. It should be noted these fish can be sensitive in regards to water parameters so frequent water changes and close monitoring of nitrate levels are a must.
